58 yrs old, 5' 9.5" 165 lbs and riding a 6'6". Stoked as ever. I leave work at lunchtime a few day a week and put in 1200 yards freestyle in the pool. It works the same muscles you paddle with and paddling is where the deterioration takes place in my opinion. Swimming has really helped pick up the wave count.
