    Arrow North Atlantic low

Check out the long range North Atlantic Pressure maps. As of today (monday), there is a strong cutoff low that meanders and intensifies in the Central Atlantic Waters.

If this wasn't March, by just looking at the pressure maps, I'd almost guess it was a tropical system... We'll see how the models hold it up over the next few days - maybe some potential for longer period swells for the east coast.
