my pal got it bad from one once...we decided hospital was the way to go....quick-racked the boards and zoomed off ...boards blew off...i got mad at him once i found out he was going to be ok.
i got nailed by a sea nettle back in '06 surfing the ernesto swell & that was bad enough. quarter-sized little bastard wrapped his long, willowly tentacles around my forearm & just held on. whole arm swelled up & turned red, like a spider bite on steroids. left me w/ scars till xmas. sea nettle:
