i got nailed by a sea nettle back in '06 surfing the ernesto swell & that was bad enough. quarter-sized little bastard wrapped his long, willowly tentacles around my forearm & just held on. whole arm swelled up & turned red, like a spider bite on steroids. left me w/ scars till xmas. sea nettle:
