Long way out but both major models, euro and gps look identical on the 10 day model run...nice hurricane off the east coast. Nice to see 2 in agreement that far out...That far in advance is still a crap shoot.

Looks like fun little waves for a bit to keep us entertained till then.

this is from the current runs...if you click later, like tomorrow, it may change. These are probably the 2 most widely model runs used for weather.

You are 100% about it being a long way out.
Weather prediction is useless past 3 days; even that is a stretch.
On this past Thursday weather was predicted to be sunny and clear in my area. We got nearly 2 inches of rain in 3 hours as a surprise gift. Rained so hard, local roadways came to a halt.

Yeah this week looks really good for a shot at waist high clean waves just about every day...
240 hours is a long time....ripping a few over the next couple mornings is job 1:

Right on! After a sick June and early July, sh*t just died. I was away for most of the horror, but I've been back for ten days and all I've seen is one grovelly knee/thigh day! I am stoked for a week of surfing, even if it's waist high!

Been skating every day, mindsurfing ledges and grabbing rail mid-sesh. Time to get wet!

F*ck the hurricane hooplah. Take what ya get boys ... and enjoy it

Good low kicking some love our way today.

Danny is down but not out. Not sure any of the EC will see any of his possible resurrection. FL or the Gulf will get it if those two blobs of convection act up and reform.

Invest 98 will be sweet Erika by the afternoon. She's a promising one. Anyone ever had a good time with Erika?

Also a 40+% chance that Freddie follows her from W. Africa. Could get interesting in the next 7-10 days.

I got on something last night and getting on something better today. All I know.

Slash is right. Enjoy what you can get. Stop b!tching about no waves. Get on your fish or longboard. Boogie. Throw seaweed and sand at each other. Party waves, drop in and knock your buddy off his board. Paddle out with a beer and knock it down in between waves. Oggle all the bikini-clad goodness walking by on the beach. For soon they will be gone and all you will see is bundled-up old fart retirees walking their dogs. You gotta take the good with the bad of every season.

Hope you got on it. It was pretty good this morning....a bit weak first thing, by 8 a.m. the tide change bumped it up to waist - stomach. We found a spot was spinning off fun long lefts and shorter rights. Glassy conditions right up until noon when some SE wind came up. My skin feels like a Dorito and is about the same color.

I got a knew waterproof container. It ties around my neck. Next week, whilst off from work, waves or no waves, I shall paddle out with doob in said container, and greet the sun with a fire of my own.
