Jersey seems to always get the best of these swells... for me its either NY or nothing...

Dirty Jersey looks like it's gonna be all time tomorrow! We shall see wind is huffing right now and should switch to West by 7 am... the rest will be up to King Neptune :)

Why does swellinfo say SW winds for Thursday in Long Beach, NY but the weather channel has N winds shifting to NW? If its SW winds it will probably suck but if its N it might be worth checking out. Can anyone clear this up?

13.0ft @ 8s from 90° (E) LI buoy , it's offshore in DE already but I think this strong easterly wind is gonna mess up the sandbars again.

    NEW JERSEY
    Good Conditions
    5-7 ft occ. +
New Jersey Forecast: For Thursday, significant rise in surf is projected for the Jersey Shore region, from an E swell/SSE swell mix, with wave heights peaking in the head to 2 ft overhead range! The conditions will be fair for the morning with brisk SW winds @ 15-20 kt, and will shift a more favorable WNW by noon, making for all time epic conditions for the remainder of the day! Head to your local favorite standout spot and tackle the large perfection! The weather will be partly cloudy and windy, with temps in the mid 40’s as a high.

Just lik the forecast said it would be in Jerz... Offshore and Thumping...
It actually went offshore a little earlier than expected. I didn't think I'd score til after work... Got it big and heavy in the AM and fun little barrels after work! Doesn't get better than that!
