    O Doug. Regardless of the reason(s), the ongoing slaughter of these noble creatures should alarm us all.

    Think about it...what man of true conscience wasn't pulling for the "Great White Whale" to smite Ahab in Moby Dick? This tree-hugger certainly was.

    I think about whales sometimes. Mostly about running them over with my sailboat, because they're either asleep or too deaf to hear me. So i've thought about inventing an underwater whistle to alert the whales of my sailboat. Question, what if we could divert the whales away from danger with harmless whistles?
