I want to get out in the water sometime this month. but I do not own a wet suit.... and I do not want to get a wet suit because I never will get a chance to drive to OC in the winter. plus I am young (14) and growing like crazy. so I do not want pay a ton of money to buy a wet suit that will be grown out, or go to waste. back to the point.... I want to surf sometime this month, is there any way I can rent a wet suit or something just for a few days??? I am 132 LBS and 5ft 9 inches. and how much GREEN $$$$
Nah brah. Its called PUBERTY!!!...but you didn't know that. Buy a wetsuit. Its worth it...even if u do grow out of it. Same thing happened to me and i scored a lot of GOOD waves in the past winters, although i bought 2 wetsuits within 3 years. One was when I was 13 when I grew like crazy during my 14th and 15th year, and then bought one when i was in the middle of my 16th year. I'm 17 now...and now I pretty much stopped growing...or dont buy one so we don't have to deal with kooks like you snaking every ****ing wave on the shoulder.
actually k coast rents out wetsuits look their number up and give em a call.. my friends had to do that last week when they forgot to bring their wetsuits
pee actually helps the wetsuits killing some bacteria... and anyway we swim in an ocean with animal and our piss mixed in, the suit isnt just going to keep a puddle of piss waiting for the next renter
yea i got a 3/2 recently cause the springy wont cut it just yet....still way too cold, but the pee keeps me warm for a bit so i always chug plenty of water before i go out Also, check eBay they always got cheapy wetsuits possibly grom-sized for less, used or not. Got mine its like an older Body Glove suit thats probably from the 90's from a dude in Ventura for llike $70 shipped
