2009 had a lot of good surf

there was a long stretch this fall with at least ~chest to head high surf 2 days a week every week. i think it started with ts danny. plus i think they landed friday, sat, sun, and monday for the most parts which helped for me and my classes

 

I missed most of it, I heard the surf in Virginia Beach was much better than usual over the summer. I was deployed and around the end of June and during July we had pulled into Durban and Capetown so I was able to surf some real nice spots over there including J-Bay. Unreal how amazing the surf is over there. Got to surf in Port Reunion as well, sucked the water was 1.5-3 ft deep right over a sharp reef.
