Oh lord. Please deliver me some awesomeness of swell now that I am healed. I have been a humble servant ...fixing my boards changing my fins re tying my leash knots and putting fresh wax on my boards. I ask in geebus name..deliver me a swell. A man
Appears to be so....and his name will be Sam. Figure it for next weekend for the SE coast. Should deliver waves of consequence.
my plan of action for Sam is to surf locally here in Charleston for an early morning sess. Head up to Surf City (Topsail) for an afternoon sess. To stay the night at Vargina Beach, maybe surf sumtin the next morning. From there, hi tail to my bro's place in Baltimore. Was going to venture to Ocean City otw back Wednesday, but forecast was windy all down East Coast then. Haven't been to Topsail or Vargina Beach if anyone wants to throw some rec's about them, much obliged
Sam looks to be a little further out then the last two...might have a little more juice for the SE than the NE. still should be something for everybody. http://www.stormsurfing.com/cgi/display.cgi?a=natla_height
My 1st thought is great so another swell hits on the weekend. Going to be a zoo. Then I realize it's always a zoo lately and my time during the week with the short daylight sucks anyway. Whatever, I'll get some waves. The hype turns every swell into an event. Hard not to get caught up in it cause of the need to surf every swell But, I try to stay in that Spocoli mindset. All I need are some tasty waves, a nice quiche with the perfectly paired wine, and I'm fine. Bringing all the threads together! try to keep up!
