Went out Thursday and Friday in a 3/2 with 3 mil boots, gloves, and hood. With a couple layers underneath my 3/2 i was good for about an hour and a half. but the weather wasnt the warmest. but it can be done now. for me at least.

I was out I Monmouth County, NJ on Friday and was in the water about 3 and a half hours in my 5/4 and was very comfortable. I guess u can do a 3/2 for about a hour and a half but with the offshore winds you will feel the chill. If your duckdiving alot you will get cold.
