I just did some extensive repairs on an old Dewey Webber board for my friend. I was expecting a six pack and my buddy gave me a 1/2 of some fire.... I was stoked!!! Happy early 420 everyone!
For steak, I'll sometimes make a compound butter with garlic, shallots, fresh red chilis (or red bell pepper), chive, S&P, and a bit of lemon juice/lemon zest. Mash it all together, roll into a log in some plastic wrap and chill it. Just slice off a thick, coin-sized round and top it with that. I do the same thing with grilled split lobster, except I use lime/lime zest and cilantro instead of lemon and chives.
