This buoy has been offline since 10/08/2007. I noticed that the bouy map is now showing data for it (which actually looks very accurate). Yet NOAA website stills shows it offline...did you deploy your own bouy?
This is not correct - thanks for catching this. Its actually showing the data from the hotel buoy (44004). Let me work on this. 44025 is still down. They had it up and running for a tiny bit and then it went down again.
it's not scheduled to be fixed until January...it's a bummer because that's the most reliable gauge to what's coming to Eastern & Mid LI...specially in the winter when I have to leave before sunrise it was real handy
