true, the pier in jax is nice and when i went theres not many swimmers but theres usually like a bunch of people out there and the longboarders there drive me insane hahah there like 50 and are just chillin out on a log and cut you off every time its pretty frustrating haha
if you dont have another board i wouldnt suggest the quad because its only truley responsive in weaker waves. And if you get the quad and its head high plus barrels your gonna regret only having a quad. but if you have another board such as a 6 3' i say go for it i just got a 5 10' stretch quad and its amazing. there just not the type of board you would wana have if its your only one. than again this is my opinion
i'll surf Jax pier if it's chest high or smaller... any bigger than that, i head to the Poles, or st.augustine
word.. ive never heard of poles but the pier in flagler is goood and they have a sick burrito place across the street its like a little hut its called burrito werks its so good man haha
mayport poles... on the border of hannah park and mayport air force base... in Jax... pretty fun when it's big
