My new board has 5 fins. So that i can switch from a Tri to a Quad. What is this called Quint or a Penta or just 5 fins or something else?
Should have gone for the six-fin.... In all seriousness, the board is designed to be ridden either as a quad or a tri. If you're Slater, you ride all five with the back center as a bump trailer. But only if you get to a final where you want to boost gigantic no-grab full rotation airs and lose to power-gouging man turns: see Long Beach 2011 and Bells 2012....
