    I was in SoCal during the swell event. It was quite large! Friday morning surfed North Ventura a solid 8-10 foot and building. Caught a couple, but I got out due to fear...so I went a little further up north and surfed a spot that usually only breaks on a west, but that was still 6-8 feet with peeling lefts coming in from 190 degrees. Saturday was still solid, but not quite as big.

    It was definately good to surf power once again, especially since I live in DC now.
