I am 5'10" about 150lbs. I surfed from age 10-18 then just started again 2 years ago and have no problem doing turns etc, want to start trying more crazy maneuvers. Not sure if I want the extra volume for when its smaller, or if the 5'7" is fine. Anyone else have one, how tall / heavy are you and what size waves do you typically surf in.
    Thanks!

    Not too big a difference between the 5'7 and 5'8... 150lbs, you'll be fine on a 5'7... Or a 5'8

5'11" flyer. Love it for chest and bigger but would like a smaller board to throw around when its chest high and performs better in waist high. Pretty much just a fun board I can ride in waist to head, any bigger ill take out the 5'11"

then i'd probably go with the 5'7" especially if you're looking to do more high performance surfing. to be honest though you probably won't notice much of a difference between the two sizes

Don't go too small with the v2 rocket. IT'S NOT A FISH..It's a performance shortboard. I'd say get it in stock dims and maybe 2 inches shorter than your normal shortboard. The v2 doesn't actually pack that much foam. I have a 5'9" and its more than maneuverable enough. You can be pretty conservative.
