What are your thoughts on this board? I've had one for about two years and have a lot of good things to say about it. I think I may have ridden it too exclusively because lately I've been searching for a different feel. I picked up a used Disco a few weeks ago.
This is my favorite board of all time...I think this is #3...kept dropping size and liters...have lost close to 50lbs in the last 2 years...over wieght! I use this board probably 70% of the time. Want to order another but wanna go even smaller. Like you, Iam also looking for another feel and have a few new boards...but that vernor is still the best and just cant resist grabbing it...Dave shaped this one for me and it was my first eps...love the eps and one of the reasons I think I can go smaller with less liters. IMO, vernors boards hold up better then any board I have owned, tho the first 2 silver bullets I think were glassed heavier then what you generally see...Had the vernor driver too...loved that thing too!
Very durable board. I think I would be better off with a few less liters in it. It is definitely hard not to grab. I took the Disco out a few times and decided to take out the Vernor last Sunday. The volume in the chest is so nice to have-especially if you feel like your not on your game that morning.
Dave Vernor makes such a great board. I have a 5'10 rocco that looks pretty similar to this just with less volume in the nose. I ride it in everything from ankle slappers in the summer to chunky peaks in CR. Good luck finding a buyer!
