Looks like the swell that originated tonight from the Low Pressure off Jax with 5-7 footers in the offshore nook is actually hitting here in SoFla on Wednesday (tomorrow), 5.9 ft. @ 7 seconds. I've been called and asked (by my friend's 13 year old grom) if its worth skipping school tomorrow. Maybe it will be sic, maybe meh, but I'm looking forward to it.
Keep an eye on that swell period bro, swell angle too, study it, understand it, be one with the swell period...
edisto buoy just hit 6ft at 8 secs. but from the cam you have to pick and choose carefully http://www.tidesfollybeach.com/surfcam/
Wind is sideshore. It is supposed to go calm to light offshore later. I'm sooo sick of windchoppe. I'll be at work until then.
Dew Point will be a huge factor on skipping class. There is a hint of convective initiation in the 00Z4(European) models but it appears to be terrain induced. Weak steering flow from the dominating southerlies will result in the low stalling over much of the coast. Spotter Emass is reporting abnormal water temp shifts most likely due to pockets of whale urine.
Lol what a sad, old man you are ManIssues. Why don't you get stoked this weekend somehow? Would do you good.
