Saw a chick flying through waist high crumbly waves this evening on a mini Simmons I looked up and saw someone zipping down the line quite fast ..I was like wtf is she on... first time I've ever seen anyone ride one live...she had it like she owned it...

 

Surprised she was getting much. North side of the island wasn't working well. I gave up just after 7.

 

the tops were crumbly foam but out deep the face of the wave held together for a lil while if your rode the wave going from 12th to the pier direction,south to north,......another shortboarder and a hybrid rider caught a few but yeah was few and far between and fought like heck to get those...the afternoon wind just sux

 

The downside of working at 6am. I can't do DP. I go out after work, but it is almost always windy by then. It looks clean and fun on the cam this morn. It will only be knee high by the time I paddle out.
