Early morning in downtown OC was very foggy making it tough to take pictures. Here are a couple salvaged in photoshop (barely).

I was in a spring suit. I was pretty comfortable even though I was getting worked pretty good. Tough paddle out.

No need to apologize. I really don't care what you think of me. Its one of the benefits of being old. If you are lucky you will reach an age when you just don't give a crap about what people, especially anonymous people on an internet message board, think of you.
fun times in delmarva this morning. too bad the sea breeze got the best of this afternoon with the incoming tide.
nice shots. it looked the same on pea island down south. broke way on the outside though. rip current did the job of paddling. a few possible 8 footers sneakin in there around 7am.

This picture epitomizes what is wrong with surfing today. Why is this kid careening pointlessly backwards out to the shoulder when he actually should be 3/4's the way through a sick wrap around lip bash to reconnect with the source? I guess he could plead stupidity. Think before you leap kids.
salty... your supposed to do what you want while your surfing, if he wants to hop around on the shoulder, theirs no wrong in doing so
maybe he landed this with enough speed to finish spinning straight into a nice full roundhouse - or maybe if he tries enough times he will do that someday.
