No gloss and polish. Its water. Took the picture right after rinsing it off. Board is 5'7 x 18 3/4 x 2 3/16.
ah, rad. love the black rails...gives it a slimmer look than the dims suggest that's awesome...looks like he shreds!
That is sick.... I figured it was for someone of a slightly smaller stature. SICK BOARD! Lil man out there ripping!
With 4 surfers in the household making boards is probably the only way I could afford to keep everyone in good equipment. I've got the process down and my boards look as good as what's on the racks in the shops. Been making boards off and on since 1989. A lot of people have been asking me to make them boards and do repairs but I've been turning most of them away. Not enough hours in the day, don't have the right space to work in for production and I can't make enough money to justify the toxic nature of the process. For now its just the half dozen or so boards a year I do. Its a great hobby but not how I'd want to earn a full time living. Now if only I could figure out how to make wetsuits...... All of Jr's cold water gear from last winter is now too small.
That longboard is sa-weet!!! Dang dude, do you have any experience with retro keel fishes and/or quad fishes?
The board looks sick! I do have a question - In no way being a troll... To me, it looks like the thickest area is below the center point. Is this because it's for a grom? Most of the boards I have, and think work the best, have the thickest part north of the center, up near the logo. Just curious - Kiddo Rips!
