Damn, sorry to hear that Chich - I met him in Hermosa about 8-10 years ago in Hermosa, nice guy. Do you know where he is getting surgery ? Is he back in the states?. I had prostate cancer surgery in 2004 - and have been pretty lucky for the last 12 years(no recurrence ). For all the guys - make sure you get your PSA checked starting at 45 to find it early. I've known Mike since'78 or 9. No, haven't heard much from him since seeing him in 05. He had prostate cancer since mid 90's, and wasn't given much time by the US docs. He was thriving down there. Last time I saw him he said he'd wrecked a motorcycle and skinned up his shoulder. A weird bump formed and was diagnosed as cancer. He rented a laser from a SJO hospital, had it shipped to his doc in Jaco (or Puntarenas) and got it burnt off. This is the last time I saw Mike
