A Roy board for Charles

I told the forum years ago before you even discovered SI that I do not surf, I am an ice skater. But did you not say earlier you would follow a rate your poo thread?

But in all seriousness I do surf I just don't take self glorifying pics of myself surfing like you and Roy and would not mount a gay pro camera to my board if someone paid me. I live 2 hours from the beach and only go surf when it gets waist high or better with good conditions (probably 20 times a year in NC) so I do not post daily updates about scoring at a secret spot on OH waves when the whole state is showing flat as a lake, I don't build boards cause I'm not too handy so no build threads, I'm only an average surfer so no ride reports, I own 1 wetsuit that I have had for 4 years so no neoprene gear reviews to be posted and have two boards and two sets of fins so again no gear reviews there. I surf for fun, not to become an expert in hydrodynamics, equipment, or a certified forecaster. What I do enjoy about SI is all the different opinions and personalities that I can argue with! However we only have a few I don't get along with so could you create some more profiles and develop schizophrenia so I can have some new folks to argue with?

P.S. it was not until you, Roy and Wayne came along that I really began posting. Not to mention you seem to be the post troll, evidenced by the fact that I have been here 4 years longer than you and you already have almost half the amount of posts I have.

I would agree with almost all you said except the fair weather surfer. As stated in the job thread I live inland for my career and with a family it does not afford me time to go every week. Other than that yes I did not post much until you 3 brought the controversy to the site. I am not about to try and add something to a discussion if I don't have any facts on the subject matter. You however jump on anyone who disagrees with Roy no matter what and that bothers me. Yes my ONLY problem with Roy's boards is the price. I would venture to say they surf well for the style of surfing they are designed for and yes they are very beautiful. Now my problem with Roy goes beyond his price and too his ego regarding himself and his equipment. I did not trash your thread and I stay on topic in the threads it's just that the topic changed from your board (which I stayed away from) but changed once Roy decided to state his boards were better at making/surfing/riding waves or whatever the hell he meant by his comment. I then decided to get involved cause like I said he bugs the crap out of me. Keep posting just like I asked you to in my last post As I said arguing with you is fun, and did you ever think that since I admitted I like arguing with you that you responding to my comments is actually you playing into it? You keep posting and I'll keep posting.

So after you pulled tubes and went surfing, the exhaust from your ultra-log polluted the York waters and that filtered down to Hampton, successfully skunking amazing conditions for us. You can only last an hour in these waters? Bro, we were out for 90 minutes no problem today before you polluted them for us. We paddled back in and went to check other spots but those were junk by then too. We'd have stayed out another 1.5 hours if not. Chuck, you have copious amounts of adipose tissue wrapped around your torso, limbs and head but you're cold? Even with that chinstrap beard? Maybe if you didn't ride a stick that paddled itself you'd have enough thermogenesis in a sesh to stay warm.
