Plenty of tubes have happened on my boards, starting in '94 on Gt Barrier Island. They ride the tube very well, but it takes some nerve to pull in on 20 plus pounds of wood ( I've done it successfully on 13'9" @ 70 pounds ) so you trolls don't qualify.

 

I know a few SUP guys that do that here. Of course, no head high waves in the recent month. Get over yourself...

Roy, you could take the door off of a refrigerator and pull into a barrel and in a picture it would look like one is surfing a barrel on a refrigerator door. but pulling in and riding it for any distance and making it out to the shoulder.... your boards have not been seen doing that. I know it. you know it. Randy Rarick knows it....

 

sooooo, Alfred Wegner hypothesized plate tectonics. the larger sci community laughed at him. then all the laughers died and this theory that was scoffed at is widely acccepted as fact. Time will tell a bout Roy's designs. if they are worthwhile they will be around in 50-100 years being ridden by frothers everywhere.
