I think its completely reasonable to ask to see a video of the board making a barrel instead of just a barrel shot clamping down and pushed on us to make it seem like its a barrel screaming machine....
Randy Rarick was close but not even he could do it.

 

pulling in to a waist high close out does not mean you got barreled.

 

As a matter of fact it is a reasonable request and I have not said anything to the contrary.

What I have done is point out that the suggestion that a mere 'moment' of recorded tube time would convince some people posting here is not correct... in that we are in agreement and you are one of those people.

Randy barely achieved beginner status in terms of the skills required to ride the Ghost 13.

If he had persevered for another session or two I have no doubt that he would have dialled himself in to the board but as it stands his 5 or 6 waves, most of which resulted in him falling off have not raised him above the 'kooked it' level.

I'm so far the most competent person at riding these boards, which should not come as a surprise.

The tubes I have had on them are etched into my memory in graphic detail. I realise that my experience can not be downloaded and transmitted to you visually but you must also realise that I can't erase my memory simply because you don't have access to it.

Furthermore anyone with even a cursory knowledge of surfing and surfboards should be able to tell from the way the boards ride that they will behave very well in the tube.

Anyway I'll keep in mind that you'd like to see some tube footage.

I stand corrected. I found a shot of him in a real barrel. Can't see what he's riding, but you have to assume it's a big wood board... Sick one Roy!!!

Funny biz model you have Roy, you sell boards that costs as much as an airplane, and repeatedly claim they are better than anything out there, yet the only proof you have ever offered anyone is your testimony, a couple vids of you trimming on a weak looking wave, and a few pics.

Since according to you guys like Randy and Gmac are kooks who just don't know how to surf, and you yourself say no one can ride them like you do, so where's the proof? Show the surfing community something, anything, that shows these are 50,000-100,000 times better than any other board out there. Or even 100x better. 10x better? With these boards and your skillz should be an easy thing to do to put up a vid of you taking a steep drop, catching the tube, and shooting out of it, right? You do it all the time right? Yet no vids ever seem to appear, just more of your personal testimony of how great it is.

Every vid I've seen just looks like a guy trimming a wooden sup on a weak wave. Seriously..I could lay down and surf paddle my SUP into that and trim down the line. Yeah I know you'll say you can catch it so much easier and trim down the line so much better, but 500,000x better?
