As well, children are a bit frightened by the lack of color coordination in your outfit, gnome.

I mean, really...white dome, orangey-pink catsuit and then black booties...? And the thunderc*** facial hair doesn't help, either.

Clean knee to thigh. Still looks pretty good to me. We would be longboarding for hours in that.

This is the only video that resembles our normal surf, and any local longboarder would be out there riding in those conditions. All your other video I would consider pretty nice waves, and would grab my shorter board.

AHA! Now I finally get all the references to orange space suits with white helmets. (Yeah I'm late to the party).

Looks like it rides like my SUP. The design looks interesting and I'd give it a shot, I like out of the box thinking and trying different boards, but for those waves I think I'd stick with the 8'0" Robert August.

    Just one kooks $.02.

Only problem is that the Kook in the Jailhouse jumper and space helmet doesn't want your $.02, he wants your 1.5 million dollars.;)

You missed the main point in my post, which pointed out the fatal logical error in your argument.

Thanks for posting those amazing videos Roy. I am frothing to jump on a dredging platform and look like a constipated kook. The board does look pretty. If you can sell it for a ton of money, God bless.

That line is the cornerstone of the NZSM logic. tlokien it's so much better when you stumble upon it yourself eh? 'Once in a while you can get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right'

Holy HeyZeus's sweaty balls! You weren't kidding. World's most expensive surfboard? I could buy a lambo for that and still have money to have a lawyer sit with me in the passenger seat for when I get pulled.

I had to step back in. Brew you seem to have awful surf conditions down south. In Maine I don't consider surfing when it's less than 9 seconds usually. It's typical to experience strong off shores here with swells around 12 seconds and there's size. My Makaha 10-9 board is actually my go to right now for all conditions

But the circling and swarming band of idiot convention members will never agree. Everyone I've met and surfed with in person loves this design and is jealous that they can't have one. Key words 'in person'. You all do not exist as far as I'm actually concerned.

    Best wishes
    -Charles :)

Charles, you dont get out unless its at least 9 seconds?
How often do you surf on the EC?
It would be great to see swell stats for the last 36 months for York ME

In jerz a few feet at 7 seconds is enough for a grown man to have fun

Also do you plan on having 12 kids?....please say no

Bottom line.. most of that zip you feel of the sweet spot is the same thing you would get riding a board that is too big for you. I rode my friends 10*6** this summer and had an absolute blast. Id set a line, find the RS patented sweet spot, and get zipped into a soul arch. It was a blast but did not turn well/and was most fun in ankle biters.

I love riding big boards. Id love to own a big 10*2** made out of a pawlonia.. but its not the end all be all. If I thought it was, Id be thinking way to much about it. To much intellectualizing about surfing dulls the sensory acuity of the session.
