Discussing future Trill custom LB with Ted's future father in law & son in law over the weekend learning the devastating news of the passing of local shaper Ted Trill early October from a tragic auto accident. Ted was a local OC shaper who loved his craft, a perfectionist that was admired by those who chose his boards as well as those who knew him. The 30 + surfers and friends who had been touched by Ted paddled out on "Trill" boards to honor and pay tribute to him spreading his ashes over his favorite \r\n59th Street break. What a crying shame, at the young age of 32, Ted's talent applied to the craft that he loved so much was taken from us. Condolences to the Trill family, Farrell family, friends, Trill riders and his fiance Meg. http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/delcotimes/obituary.aspx?n=edward-w-trill&pid=153962656 [/url]http://www.fairmans.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=629&Itemid=43
Sad thing man,Enjoy every moment on this earth.Your life can change in a heartbeat.Found that out in August.Thoughts and Prayers out to the family.
Ted was a friend of mine, sweet fellow and hell of a board builder. The quality of his boards rivaled the better known names out west like Bing, Mandala, Cooperfish. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him and rode his boards. ~Brian www.greenlightsurfsupply.com Shape Your Surfing Experinence
