il share my greatest out of the water story. I was walking on some train tracks.a tiny frog came hopping about.....then a little garter snake or something came and ate it,right infront of my eyes!!!I called 911 I was extremely terrified..but it was pretty cool
This is a true story. (The names have been changed to protect the innocent.) Once I was out at a reef/point break and there was a strong current due to head high north swell with some side shore wind on it. If the tide is right (it was), you can sit on the south side of an exposed rock, which cuts the current. If you see a set come in, you stroke out a few yards to the peak and take off left, and it peels for 100 yards past some hotels. I was out by myself for just abit, then a guy who I recognized as a young local paddled out. We exchanged quick hellos, and proceeded to pick off a few clean semi-hollow lefts in clear blue water. After a lull, we were next to each other at the point, he was further up, I was more situated on the peak, but he had priority. A set rolls in, and I swear I heard him say "Go! Go!" so I went! went! I paddled out beaming after an awesome ride, off the lips, cutbacks, inside rail grab cover ups, the whole nine. He says to me very calmly, "so do you just drop in on everyone?". I was stunned. I said to him, "You said go! go!" He replied, "I said No! No!" I said " Oh sh!t, I am totally sorry, I thought you said "Go! Go!" He smiled, I don't think he believed me, but that was the end of it. I let him get every wave from then on. Then took off. I can't make this up.
lol I love hearing that line,i said go,no I said no!!!!! lol.I would've laughed at him when he said do u drop in on everyone
He should have just yelled YO! (He wouldn't have made it anyway, he was too far back, but that should have been his choice.)
