Sooo...I had a flare up today despite the rain. Usually dry air is what does it. Should I maybe try the ointment instead of the creme?
Well, he doesn't sleep there all night but he does hop up and cuddle. I will certainly look into that.
Sometimes when kahlua is outside most of the day then sleeps in our bed we wake up itchy. Could be a reaction to fur loss or some **** stuck in her fur. no idea.
Even just the dander possibly...oh well, it's an itchy life for me too. I promise I won't show up in RI with fleas.
Seldom Allergies are an immunological response to an allergen, i.e. a protein. At this time of year, if you are itching, it is probably a pollen that is the culprit. As I mentioned before, allergies are mediated by either histamines, leukotrienes, or other prostaglandin type molecule in your body. So, block them with an antihistamine, antileukotriene (Singulair - montelukast is generic). or steroid creme or tablet. If you have not tried singular I suggest you do--when it works, it works well for hives, but it takes a few days, but with zero drowsiness (it doesn't work on that drowsy pathway.). See what your docs says. regards
If it is that, then you need to go on the flounder and pancake diet. It is the only thing that we can slide under your door.
I got Acute Contact Dermatitis when I first moved to south Florida and discovered Mangos. Just about every house down there has a mango tree (probably more than Palm trees) and when the fruit is ripe, they fall on the sidewalks and are absolutely everywhere. So, I started eating them...and didn't stop. Next thing I knew, my lips looked plastic surgery gone awry and I got itchy bumps everywhere. Maybe, stop eating or stop applying whatever may be causing the allergy.
