It's inspiring to hear from you guys that are in your 40s/50s and up...especially for the times when squares imply that 'you should grow up'(and that somehow not riding waves facilitates that...), which my sister has done a couple times as of late... You guys are fu*kin' radical and an inspiration to us younger fellers.
No, you're not. How can you be Captain at such a young age? And the captain of birds no less.... Now, sir, please tell us your real age..... Birdman, this has nothing to do with you........But you know what is kind of scary? I just got the sense that a lot of people are lying aboot their ages on here. So, for anybody, besides me, over 40 on here, add another 5 years to their stated age. Like, I'm pretty sure Pumpmaster is at least 68.............
Still Stoked After All These Years 62 years old; surfing for 50 years. Certainly not shredding like I used to but I am damned sure that nobody has any more fun than I do. Assateague is certainly not Cloudbreak but it's home, albeit a little chilly in December!!
damn some of u guys are old.most old people im around don't even know how to use a computer.keep surfing,it keeps you young and healthy.for the other 12 and a half year olds like myself,fu(k 0ff!!

just turned 49 a couple days ago. Started when I was 11, "surfing" summers in pensacola (95% of summer is pancake flat, but skinny little kids with big boards can get by...barely) until I moved to charleston SC at 18. Surfed Folly for a couple years, then moved to Ft Lauderdale for about 3 years. Moved to CA in 1985, where I really learned to shortboard well...because I got to surf a hell of a lot more. Still in CA, still shortboarding and still killing it.
