Lol If you go back and read my post at the beginning you’ll see that I said mistakes happen. I admit to making them, just not often and not recently. I will also admit that I surf alone 90% of the time so my chances of mistakes are less. But when I surf with a friend or small crowd I am extra aware and avoid screwing up at all costs. I’m usually calling dudes into waves and hooting for them when they get a good one.

If I’m at a crowded spot things happen that sometimes are unavoidable because if you are too polite you will never get a wave. But I start with good intentions until it’s obvious nobody is doing the same in return. Then all bets are off.

Don’t get butt hurt on SwellInfo and earn a T shirt. Just giving you a bit of a hard time is all. Now go drop in on someone k!

So earlier this year, I had a session where I did everything I could to drop in on a turd every time I saw him paddle.
I typically prefer to paddle down to a break to be alone, but have gotten to "know" a couple of the regs (after three years I still don't know their names). It was a really good day and one of the few ground swells we get every 3.5 blue moons, so more then just the regs were abound. Myself and 2 others are sharing a peak and having a good time. A 20 something child paddles out and immediately starts snaking and shoulder hoping.
The first wave, I didn't see him and I couldn't tell if the wave was his, pulled out, and apologized. He gives me a sheetty look. After a couple more waves of him snaking, one of the other guy has the peak and is taking it. This twhat tries to yell him off as he hops on which the reg ignored and then flipped him off. On their paddle back, the kid tells him to phvck off down the beach. Me and the other guy exchange a look and grinned. On each drop in thereafter, all he heard was to go phvck off down the beach. The kid did not catch any more waves until he phvcked off down the beach
But yeah, I am no rippa/shredda, and sheette can happen on occasion. Just don't be a duetchebag. Its one of the few times there has been anything but positive vibes at the spot, and we haven't seen the kid since

 

There you go DP. Last paragraph of my original post. Point out the excuse i apparently made. Seems to me i did the exact opposite of making excuses and decided to correct my wrong instead. Or maybe im just going crazy.

And barry? If he's upset that's on him. Nothing wrong with friendly debate. Hell id rather debate with him then you. At least he had good responses. I was enjoying that conversation. I know you confuse a debate with being butt hurt easily. Like you did in this very thread. But really, i enjoy a good debate. I wish me and Barry could continue that one.
