It has the stock black composite AM2 future fins. I am willing to negotiate the price some, but not that low at this point. The board is truely in almost new condition.

What a huge shortboard. Unless you're a ripper and are about 6'4"+ and 200lbs+ this board will serve no purpose. So many people get sucked into buying Merricks because of the name (don't get me wrong Al has some of the best shapes in the world) but the reality of it is that you would probably be better off buying an epoxy funshape so you could catch more waves and have the board last longer than 2 seasons. But maybe you are a big guy who surfs really well....
I'll respectfully disagree with jeskobutz's comments... Regardless of who the shaper is, big dood short boards are everywhere whether you like it or not... Just go and look at any shapers site. They serve a purpose for us who are beyond the grom years -- me included. I'm certainly comfortable with my surfing abilities so no need to get into a pissing match... That being said, I just got a 6'7" X 20" X 2 11/16". I don't want nor do I need a fun shape as my high performance, everyday board but will be getting an egg for summer and for my girl to use... I think the board that Charlie has will work great for those who are a little larger or looking for a little more volume...
As is my case; at 46, 6'-3", 210#s, surfing for 36 yrs and not ready to ride a long board yet these type of big guy boards are exactly what I and others like me ride. While maybe not quiet as loose as a 6'-0" board, I assure you I can turn it quiet well especially when the surf is shoulder high and bigger. They perform much better than a fun shape and besides a 6'-0" potato chip just doesn't float me anymore. These type of boards can also be great transition boards for guys that are ready to get off a beginner board but not ready for a real small short board that will only slow the learning process.
