Surf photo of my first Alaia (and surfboard) I shaped. I used Paulownia wood. Very fun to shape and surf prone, knee or standing. I've only had the opportunity to surf it in small waves so standing was very challenging. I rode it prone and had the most fun in a long time on tiny, knee high waves! The Alaia makes you reevaluate how to enjoy waves!

No glass. I used bees wax instead of the turp, but I'm sure there's different solutions to apply.
