those boards are really hard to paddle i have tried them it is almost like swimming they sink so much. i had a hard time trying to ride it.
at the inlet with joey, mr. brent let us ride his for a while. it was hard you had to swim it to catch waves and the waves were closeing out real bad.
i don't know mr. brent shaped his himself. he did a really good job it was sick. i think people are trying to sell them in hawaii.
Like aaron who is one of the better surfers I have seen had trouble surfing one and he makes them. www.powellhawaii.com Cool idea if you are rob machado and that board with your everyday board and have all these awesome waves to waste flailing on a board knowing there will be waves tomorrow. Because al merrick will fly you to them.
I dont know to much about them . They dont have a fin right??? If not do you trail your back foot to plane it like a fin or is it meant to be ridden without a fin. What kinda would do they use? I might wanna try to make one of my own
Billy thats aarons brothers name I can never remember. Ialways see him when drunk (he bartends at difebos.)
arron surfs those allia boards really good. there fun to full around on when the waves are small or something
That is what an exercise in futility means. It means you will do it just to piss your self off. Think banging your head against a brick wall. It means that you are doing something that has no favorable end result. You build it and waste a good day of waves on this. Because you will not surf any better on it. The novelty will be gone quickly.
I agree he does but I have seen his split right down the middle too. Just seems like a huge pain for no reason.
