This is one of my favorite tricks. Can anyone help me with the landing? Here is what I do.

They honestly are hail-marys in that you need to be at least 4- to 5-feet above the lip, both to spin 360 degrees AND be able to hold the board beneath your feet. And the “lien” grab just makes them that much more stylish and difficult in comparison to double-grabbing (a no-no among seasoned aerialists).

The alley oop is a tricky maneuver to pull, especially if you go big. Smaller ones are easier to make, but they can also make you look a little silly. However, a huge one with a clean landing looks really cool.

The key is to set it up right. How you want to keep going after the move determines how you’ll do this. For most airs, just approaching the lip more horizontally and not super steep off the bottom allows for better landings and more control, with less turning necessary in the air. You can even clear a section as you’re spinning and land in a floater, but you really need to grease and stick the landing. Timing is the most essential thing and that depends on the section you have. It’s got to be steep enough to go up and out the top and launch in order for you to come back down into the top of the wave or onto the lip somewhere.

Your one of those copyrighted police guys. Whatever. Yes i used that website to explain to you how I am doing my airs. It would be easier than me posting my videos or dumbing it down here.

yah its all about having the faith in the board. Be the Board. thats my saying. You must have the correct surfboard. i have a 5’9″ round tail Semi Pro, Thruster/Quad setup and it gets me where I need to be. Hoping we get some huge surf up here soon.

At this point I just throw it out there in jest whenever a troll pops up with a new account. There are certainly ones with the Billy criteria though.

Bro, I thought you WERE here this weekend, no? I swear you came with Shred. If you didn't then you're regretting it now. What you're not regretting is the Vegas level recovery that has ensued. Trying to get that hop in my step today and it's a challenge. That's ok, here comes the fall of health.
