hey...heard there will be an f-1 track in new jersey in 2013. it'll run in the palisades along the hudson....congratulations
hitchin a ride.... i guess the only way to the track will be rail and water taxi....8 mins from manhattan to the pits, according to steve matchett. no local traffic issues....100,000 expected...
glad I don't live near that. It's hard to believe that 100k won't bring in traffic issues... I have enough traffic as it is down here...all 757's would agree. But I bet it would boost some local economies...
where will this be? haven't heard about it yet, but i'm from up there in north jersey. just looked it up. weehawken, and west new york? this area is already way too hard to get around! never heard about this, but i think it was proposed at one point when the future of the meadowlands race track was uncertain that they were gonna revamp it into some kinda track that nascar can come through to race. by the way anyone remember the meadowlands grand prix? that didn't last too long.
information please... http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/new-jersey-f1-race-confirmed-2011-10-27 it is confirmed, actually. there will be no way to get in unless you take public transit. see the map on this article
I did the NJ F1 track on my ten speed bike and made this video so you can get a look at it. http://www.nj.com/ledgerlive/index.ssf/2011/10/new_jerseys_grand_prix_of_amer.html
