Mick Fanning was there to aid in the rescue. The guy is like superman. Some body said he summoned 2 dolphins to tow him to the victim.
Evans a lucky dude all kidding aside. God speed on his recovery. Great to see he didnt go unnoticed. Hats off to all who helped w the rescue.

The actual wipeout didn't look that bad, crazy. That's a lot of water moving!

Man the footage is heavy. Glad things are looking ok. Also, prease excuse the mis-spell in the title. We're all in the ocean together.

Let the record show, Botha is a beast, and has been charging hard on the NS. Last year when they cancelled the Pipe contest bc it was too big, he's charging some of the craziest ones coming through.

Dre's been charging the NS for the past two decadeds

I always liked Dre especially in the 90's when he was living that "rockstar lifestyle"
You know booze drugs and women all night and pulling into everything the following morning
Oh man nothing like a post session cigarette

    Even giant close outs...yeahhh

Dre was once axed what bodyboarding means to him and his response was spot on

Charging waves surfers wouldn't and hitting sections surfers won't

    Much respect to DRE

I hope none of us are ever in a situation like Geiselman...but I do hope that any of us would do something similar that Andre did...pretty unbelievable video!

Any lifeguards know what the protocol normally is about detaching the leash/board?

Keep the board/victim connected just in case you lose each other?

I think Evan's sponsors should chip in some monies and give this guy a travel budget!
