saw it passing my tv news; don't have details....anybody know?
sorry, should have mentioned it was hawaii...
Better recap of the aussie....
Other than that, dunno.
thanks that; no. sorry if i'm spinnin wheels...but walked by my tv news and thought
i heard/saw a snippet of an attack on a male in hawaii...
Did not find anything on HI shark attacks in recent news. The Aussie one was crazy, dude kicked the shark several times to get free and the bastard kept coming after him.
ok - i must be a pigment of my own imagination....
how bout dem aussies?
this guy kick-boxed it;
i think the last survivor - s/w oz - got tag teamed by gws's....uwudtink ones'enuf; no?
If somebody stood on my head (Aussie shark nip), I'd probably react violently, too.
that was a another attack where a dad punched a shark in face to save his kids
ok, musta been....prob a re-telling of the story.
gotta love that cartoon....
"I fought a GW and didn't die"
That man shouldn't have to buy his own drink for the rest of his life. Certified badass.
It was a tiger. And there were 2 more 'incidents' the following 2 days after. Both SUP's. both ok. Just bite marks on the tails of their sups. The one at Frieght trains was the only one that involved an actual surfer.
And just to throw it out there they were all right after the rains from tropical storm Ana.
thanks for deets leety, the rains had me sketched out too. I was out at EMPTY pinballs and saw a few blacktips in the red water, I got out
It even has a Volcom stone on the board!!! Zach, your thoughts???
Damn you beat me too it!
Great minds think alike Mr carter
I would never go in the water again if I was out there.
I saw a thing on new Smyrna beach on one of the animal planet nat geo shows, and they broke it down on why theres so many shark attacks, and the months with the most shark attacks.never been to nsb,but seen plenty videos of surfers surfing under medium sized shadows.they said those shark bites are equivlant to dog bites, they have small jaws, blacktips I think they were.anyway they follow the fish in through the inlet there, full moons the fish give birth and they like to be close to shore so the sharks follow.if u see more than 5 fish swimming together I would get out the water.better to be safe than sorry
C'mon Cep, it aint that bad, lotta hype
The men in grey suits get crazy hungry in HI when the runoff happens.
I wasn't too worried about it. I even looked at a beach close by where one of the sup's got hit, hoping there'd be waves with no one on em cause they were all scared of the fishes. Ended up at Hookipa instead, where apparently everybody else thought it was all safe to!
