Either way, I, for one, would love to dig through Vatican's secret library.

Believing in an unseen being(s) makes one gullible in a society that worships Kim Kardashian and other celebrities?

Ah, where else would there exist a population, who not only understands the universe, but knows all aboot it?

It's a big world out there and it's an even bigger universe out there. I'm glad so many Swellinfo members have it all figured out. That makes this place better than So-crates for infinite wisdom and knowledge.

No, no one has it figured out, and most likely no one ever will. That's one of my objections to religions. They tell their followers that they've got answers to the unanswerable questions of existence.

Well, what if told you God "speaks" to me all of the time?

Ah, religion is just people being people. Everybody's got to ban together when the realize they have similar beliefs/likes/opinions. And being people, some are going to use this to create a powerful organization that is in "charge."

Like, it's just like all the boy-lovers out there organizing and finding solace in their persecuted beliefs and practices. So, they create NAMBLA - North American Marlon Brando Look Alikes and they have their own thing going. You know what I'm sayin'?

I believe we are all human beings (dont know about Riley, he's on another level...cosmic) that will always seek the answers but only till the day we die. Two things that are certain. Life and death the only common ground we have, maybe in the end we will have true knowlege. Make the most out of the now, keep looking for the answers no matter what you believe!

god is for people in prison.that is it.every religion, prison.

    religion gives u hope,makes u want to live another day.so if ur not in prison,and u have a job,and u have a house,and u live a decent life,why need to follow a fictional book?

then some people are like,oh god gave me everything.ummm no dipshyt.
u worked for what u have, congratulate yourself not your imaginary friend.

I used to be a big Christian lol, back in the day.all my people always talked shyt about me,laughed at me,etc.id go to church with 30 bucks and put 20 in the basket.id go up for the prayer, etc.I really helped them people out, they didn't help me one bit.

it just takes sometime u have to step back from it and look at it from a different perspective.ok god got me out of jail.well did god put me in jail in the first place?did god let the prosecutors and judge actually read my charges and see I was held against my rights?

believe what u want to believe, nothing wrong with it.its only wrong when u try to get others to convert to ur imaginary friend by all means possible.

this new freedumb of religion act?a pizza place that turned down gays raised $90k through fundme.anybody see anything wrong with that?that is no different than saying no blacks allowed in here, maybe I can get 90 grand.extremely racist,it goes against everything in the bible, these people are not religious, they are no different than those isis extremists, only difference is they aren't killing people.

actually there is a huge difference and the analogy is incorrect. In the case of the pizza parlor, they are being forced to cede their rights to practice their religions beliefs. That is wrong in any case. No group should be permitted to force another to give up their rights (in this case, gays forcing Christians).

Those pizza folks either figured out or fell into a pretty good hustle.

    Heaven is...
Surfing and getting laid in the same day.
Catching 5 rainbow trout all bigger than 20 inches. (Happened yesterday, Yeah!)
Watching a mother bear and her cubs walk by and they don't see or smell me.
Watching a horse take a sh!t while I fly fish.
Having a Jack on the rocks on my deck while the old lady rubs my shoulders.
Watching my sons growing into men.
    Girls in yoga pants.
    Girls beach volleyball.
    Big boobies.

is it not printed on every currency, "In God We Trust"?

This is the reason Atheism is a bit frowned upon in society... It's considered normal to believe in God. I'm not challenging your beliefs or anything, I'm just trying to give you an explanation of why atheism is looked down upon. You can believe whatever you want to believe, and of course people will try to change your beliefs. ALWAYS. but shoving your beliefs down someone elses throat is definitely NOT the way to do it.

    i like you no homo
