Again... billions of people don't care that non-believers don't believe. It's the minority that do, yet people hold all the other hostage for it.

I have said it before--silence is tacit approval of ISIS by Islam. They are ALL nuts.
Same with any other religion that sits quietly while a minority of their faith slaughters others. No excuses.
But, recently the Egyptian President spoke up--lets see where that goes.

You sell humanity short, in my opinion, LB. I sincerely disagree that people need religion to be moral. Those morals that were instilled in a religion, where did they come from, friend? We as a society dictate what is, and what isn't right. We don't need religious dogma to tell us how we should live our lives. If you need religion to have a good moral code, you're just a sh***y person, dude.

Also, religions are vacuous and vapid. How could we grow and become more knowledgeable about the universe we live in if we were just ok with saying, "Well, we can't explain it, so it's God." We would never get anywhere with such a contemptible attitude. We would only further plunge ourselves into the depths of another dark age, where rationality and reason are looked down upon.

I genuinely feel the planet would be a better place if religion were wiped from the face of it.

Other means of control would fill in if religion were gone. We are seeing it already with the corruption of science as a mechanism for controlling people.

First of all, how do you guys who aren't religious know anything about, oops aboot, organized religion?

Dude, most religions aren't waging war. Dude, the Crusades where centuries ago, get over it.

    ISIS ain't a religion.

And these jihadist have more than religion on their mind. Yeah, they use it as a semi-guise, but it just ain't aboot Jesus and Mohammed and God and Allah.

    Allahu Akbar !!

I love how all y'all say God is nonsense. So, then one of you mothertruckers tell me how and why we are here. And let me see some example that you KNOW what you are talking aboot.

Humans who think they know everything are the most clueless.

So-crates didn't know anything which made him great and landed him an appearance in Bill & Ted's Excellent adventure.

Yeah dudes, we didn't turn from rocks to fish to two legged Neanderthal by pure coincidence.

    How? What?

    I have no F'ing idea.

And neither do any of youse guys.

You reduced your "logic" to illogical nonsense. Might as well have an "intellectual" discussion about politics....

Gnar, hon, we have learned and explained "why," all the while, religion has been right along side of all this "knowledge."

Earth is not the beginning and end of the universe, people.

Man youse guys' thinking is so self-centered and self-absorbed.

Sorry to argue with you, Gnar. You're a fine young man. Watch out, Wayne is in NJ

Hey Gnar, is your moniker here a reference to ca-caine? "

"Butter" is a term for ca-caine around these here Philly parts.

    YO BUTTER, PARK IT UP.....

And no the world would not be better if religion was gone. It affects you none-what-so-ever.

You guys are just crying martyrdom. Poor fellows. Religion bothering y'all.

And of course, in a episode of South Park, the whole world was dominated by atheists. And guess what all they did was form splinter groups and fight.

Some people here don't seem to understand human nature.....

Ain't no one, or at least I aint, saying God is definitely not real. I am speaking on organized religion, dude.

Ya know, brain washing the masses to believe in some fairly tale that's a thousands of years old, made up by ignorant men of the past.

And you're kidding yourself if you think ISIS isn't religious. They are zealots, no if ands or buts about it. They slaughter herds of people in the name of their big guy in the sky.

Evolution by natural selection isn't coincidence, Riley. Have you ever read any books on it? If not, I suggest you do.

I usually agree with you, dawg, but not here.

hmmm, why are we here? Because there was just enough matter left over from the anti-matter collisions so that atoms can form. Then at some point our sun formed and our plant had just the right amount of water to be liquid at the right temps. after that (or before) a small planet hit Earth to form the moon which allowed for tides. THEN, there were enough organic compounds present to form life, THEN a comet or asteroid hit and wiped out the dinosaurs that allowed mammals to flourish....

And, Riley, my dear bud, best we not forget that Socrates and many others were put to death because of what they were saying.

The church and other governments don't take kindly to blasphemy.

Uhhh where did the matter come from? The Atoms?

All this stuff originated from something....

Listen fellows any of these scientist who research such stuff will tell you they DO NOT know all the answers. They don't have a clue aboot some things..

And Darwin was a moron. The only good things to come out of South America are Brazilian buttocks, cocaine, marijuana and dope.

According to this evolution guru blackened Americans and Vaginal Americans are inferior beings. Only white males matter in the evolutionary scale. What a crock of sh!t.

Umm the Catholic Church isn't the same thing as it was in the fifth century. It ain't even the same thing as it was two centuries ago. The church has evolved. Ah, pun intended.

You guys keep mentioning sh!t that happened 700 years ago. Yeah only religion was messed up back then. Everything else was perfect.
