any advice

    i just got back in to surfing about a month ago i tried the whole longboard thing didnt work out so i went out a got a new short board i can get up and surf no problem but i have not yet figured out how to ride the wall of the wave and shred it an advice will help thank you

    just keep at it. a month is nothing... and especially when the waves aren't very good.

    ride a skateboard when its flat, tic tac on it, powerslides ect. when you go for the wave, firts you need to see if its a right or left, go the way the waveopens up, paddle at an angle toward the open face of the wave, stand up, and its all in your knees. pull them to your chest to go up the waves, and straighten them out to go back down the wave. done consec is called pumpin. when you see a section waiting for a killer slash, let one out brah. happy shreddin!

    but it wont all just come to you your going to have to practice everything fishinwitha510 says. but just go out there and surf and practice your stuff.
