I've been getting some good time in the water. This weekend is looking awesome (well, awesome for up here). The talk was HH, forecast is currently painting a different picture, but chest will put a big grin on my face. My last (actually it was also my first) run in with HH+ was a few weeks ago, got destroyed. Wrong board, quick closeouts, real power, steep faces. It was humbling. Hasn't made me gunshy though.
I'm a chiropractor and it sounds like a pinched nerve. You need an x ray asap to make sure there is no fracture. If no fracture then it is safe to adjust. I see this all the time. 2-3 treatments usually clears it up. Or you can just follow zagaffers advice...probably the best option.
Thanks for the advice and comedy. SI wouldn't be fun WO it. I regained feeling in my fingers this morning. And of course, surfed again today. The incident did feel like whiplash. While surfing today it hurt a good bit. Like 30% of yesterdays pain. No numbness though. I will be easy this weekend and probably get an X-ray next week. This sucks but hey, at the current moment there are many way worse off than me.
