I was once a guide for a wilderness therapy organization.

I would take people into the desert, keep them alive from suicide attempts and/or wilderness survival situations, chase them in large (miles) circles when they tried to run away, and listen to them as they talked about how much their lives as kids/relatives of famous people sucked.

It was awesome for a few months. I felt like a psychiatrist, then they laid me off, and i moved into a 95 dodge ram van.

 

Don't stay in one place for too long Riley. Have something or somewhere to look forward to. Sounds like the exact problem I've been dealing with. Moving in January, got a job from the computer so I can travel. Stay off the pills and weed and booze, do some yoga. Replenish your natural happy chemicals. Get laid too.

One time, foggiest weather or whether(for Riley, I'm not bitting his stylee) I've ever seen. Visibility was literally like 10 feet tops. I was perched up on the bow as we tried to make it out of the channel, calling out buoy locations to the Capt. Ive worked in mental health for a long time. Its entertaining. Direct care, case management, service coordination, the whole shebang.
