Anybody ride Rawson borts?

Super pumped to ride this thing.. already leashed and waxed ready to go.
The Bort Room is actually in shambles - been invaded by two 12 yr olds doing “surfing workouts” on that trainer I made, and waxing hers, but thanks for the kudos. And Heaps, I haven’t been able to surf much this summer but I seriously have surfed every one you see, at least once this summer. I built the wall racks to keep them from getting banged around and easy to take off and put back once their squared away.
I paid $725 with tax, including the fins and a Dakine board bag.

 

Im pretty happy with how it’s shaping up in my little bort cave... that Roberts is gonna be like a crown jewel - and if my wife finds it how much money I’ve spent on these things, it’s gonna be my new room lol. I’m glad I ride them all or I’d think I have a problem. But now I need a legit single fin hahaha

 

Now the hard part will be me; I’m so dam type A and impatient but this is going to take a bit of work and time to get right. This week we may see some waist high/chest high clean so it’s getting wet no matter what, but I’m gonna bring it to work with me and go paddle around after work even if it’s flat just to get used to it quicker. I know it sounds kooky to most of you but most of you are already way past this stage in your surfing too lol. I may even jump into some of this choppy shit up here today...

Those are the ones I picked for the boart... there were a set of Kelly Slater Bullsey one’s too but these matched some of the graphics. Why? Remember, I may not know if I’m commiting a surf crime here lol.
And thanks Dogg, it’s kinda how I saw it either way as a nice get. And if it’s above my pay grade then at least someone else will appreciate it.

The boart came with markings on the bottom tail calling for size, angle, etc for fin set up and those were the only ones he had that came close.
I may experiment with different combos once I get used to how she rides and what’s too loose for me.
