Anyone ever hear

    of the company called KOA surfriders?

    i just got a used funboard shaped by T Channin, its says S-glass which i think is good...and a composite stringer.... any feedback on these boards....its got a v bottom with a rounded pin tail...looks like its gonna rip!

    Where did you get it. Heritage had an 8' pintail in a greenish tint. Nice board.

    i found it on craigslist....the board is actually a KOA shaped by Tony Channin..his boards look sick. i cant wait to surf it.

    Channin is a first class shaper and they do a lot of glassing for other shapers. Good luck with it !

    Chanin makes some pretty nice boards. Very good quality and they ride good too.

    My all purpose boards: 8'0 mini longboard tri fin and a 7'3" thruster. Both Channin's. My 9'0 is an Ashton. I save the 7'3" mini gun Nomad Brewer shape for long lines and my 6'0 Eaton single fin has been taken over by my 17 year old. It was a good board I seem to recall.
