April-June: Where to go for waves?

    Ahoy!
    Lady and I have time btw April - June. Any advice or favorite places to go? I'm an intermediate surfer and lady likes a nice beach with warm waters. We don't mind staying for a place for a couple weeks or months at a time if the vibe is right and waves are good.
    Over: crowds and Brazilians
    Like: right, points, reef, middle range prices
    Possible spots: British Virgin Islands/Caribbean, El Sal/Central America, Bali

    Caribbean will be mostly flat. For surfing--go elsewhere. (Although I have seen PR break well in April, but rarely)
