My buddy got an 8'0" foamie. I have to say the thing is a blast just to mess around on. Great for crowded, crappy wave summer conditions when you don't want to take yourself too seriously.

If you're talking about Nerf boards, I also bought one last yrear at costco for 99 buck or so. I took it out on a big(ish) day last year. forgot to swap boards in my van. The leash is attached by a plastic fin bolt. It gave me an opportunity to swim in.
wish I had one for those days in the summer when its high tide and whomping shorebreak. I wouldn't have to worry about hurting it.

I wish I had me a foamie.therses plenty of shytty days where u don't want to bring your good boards or its too shallow and risk breaking fins.also u could probly try some crazy tricks on them.heres a tip.when its thick and hollow,dont wear a leash and your boards will last longer
hahahhaha! Been there!! Scariest thing is a noob who borrowed/bought a 50lb longboard and is paddling and falling on every wave, sending that brick flying into the impact zone. I finally just healed from a nasty bruise across the back of both my calves when i got clobbered by that same buick, wish it had been a foamie. Oh well, at least it didn't break my bones or nick my own foamie that i was ridin...
