if you feel like driving to the ft myers area i have a fishcuit for sale. http://fortmyers.craigslist.org/lee/spo/2818415547.html
My buddy has 1 - he loves it. It works great in small to medium OBX surf. He is about 180 lbs I thinks his is a 5'10 and floats him well. The only downside is it seems to be lightly glassed or the blank was over shaped because the deck is getting beat up. Go for it
I am 5'-8" 155 lbs and I would ride a 5'-4 or a 5'-6 motorboat, great small wave board. Very user freindly. IT will float you very well at 2-1/2" thick. Dpeneds on your ability
BUild quality on Channel ISland sticks can be suspect. typically glass jobs arent great. Where do you live? got a local shop you can go where they shape boards. Tell your local shaper you want a wide outline shortboard like the motoerboat, with single to double concave with Vee off the tail. Low entry and exit rocker. That a six pack and 450 should get you you a poly board. IF you dont understand the statement above, then its even more important you go talk to a local shaper!
T. Patterson XXX is a similar shape and very user friendly with good float. I'm 6ft 180lbs and ride a 5'7"x19.5x2.38, it is the best board I've ever had.
