The dream is not dead, not by far! But it is harder now, I'll just say that the gubnet want's every penny they can get, then throw the insurance companies on top. I got busted a couple of years ago on a workmans comp audit, I ended up paying 3k, they wanted 12k, but I fought it. For a large corporation 3k is nothing. but for a small business 3k is a lot, it's a mortgage payment or multiple vehicle payments. I regress though, my fed senator is an ex insurance man, but he is a republican so everyone here loves him, but I feel like I got totally Mandingoed! Sblasters and Clemson might disagree with me, but Tim Scott sucks ass!

What bothers me , is when I see guys in their early twenties walking down the street with no ambition, they've got a case of beast lite from dollar general with no purpose! I'm a man... I'm 40... and I can outwork most men half of my age! WTF!

this not the place for politics, but since someone went there I will give my opinion. Mr obama is the worst thing to happen to this country in my lifetime. maybe carter was worse. maybe johnson. He has divided us more than ever. Him,Reid, Pelosi, etc. (basically all liberal demoncats) are out to destroy us and turn the USA into the USSA. Pure evil. Just my opinion. I came from a family with an income below the poverty line. I struggled in my early 20's, but worked hard and now do well for myself. It's only due to my own hard work and not accepting my position in life.
I have some friends that did not do so well for themselves, because they were content. They chose not to push themselves and earn a better life. They can't say that they didn't have the opportunity.

Is it harder for some, absolutely. But people are not born in prison. Choosing to be a criminal and accept that fate is a choice.

 

It has alot to do with banks. US and EU banks. The too big to fail kind.

In short it works like this:
although Ukraine has alot of sovereign debt and needs outside economic stimulus, it's citizens have tons of savings (bc Ukraine banks are not run like western banks they offer savings and other accounts that have historically paid out 8, 9 and sometimes up to 10% on deposits-which surprise! makes people wanna SAVE money instead of like here in the USA or similarly in EU where the interest rate is so low - practically zero- you are in effect CHARGED by your own bank to use your OWN money-but that's a different story for a different time-- and man ain't that truly the definition of "retarded"?)

So basically the TBTFBanks of EU and US (vis a vis the central banks who would control the currencies to be used if and when they accepted EU) need access to Ukraine's bank reserves waaaaay more than Ukraine needs access to BMW's.

It would be financial suicide for Ukraine to go into the EU. It is completely dependent on its trade with Russia. It's dependent on Russian natural gas feed stocks for all the factories and Industry and all the pipelines that go to Europe go thru Ukraine.

Entry into EU for Ukraine would mean having to pay more for everything for them and would make them non-competitive with countries like Poland who were early enough in the EU to get stimulus funds etc before the EU went broke and now have more modern factories etc to show for it.
Russia is holding all the real cards, they have REAL assets...like oil, natural gas etc...not fake counterfeit $$ like what the Euro and Dollar have become. And they are willing to work with Ukraine over a long period of time.

so it would never VOLUNTARILY go towards the EU (which is broke just like the USA is so no real help there with economic stimulus) .
So of course it doesn't want to make that decision but in order to force a decision Western banking interests (aided by CIA and EU's version of CIA) a coup was paid for by Western money (the 2nd one--anyone remember the Orange Revolution?) but oops instead of finding some decent Ukrainian Nationalists to hand the reigns over to the ultra right Nationalists (NAZIS basically) have control now. Russia can't afford to have NAZI-ish nut-jobs on their border so they went in to protect their property in Crimea etc and etc.
