Well, pragmatically, this happened to a media personality that has uttered things as "internment camps" and "final solution" for such upstanding tabloids as The Sun and Daily Mail. She's similar to that conservative Greek h0m0, meaning that there's much truth in her words but at the cost of useless shock value.

And, there is an investigation. No arrests. And no law currently exists to arrest *yet*. Seems more like a political effort to intimidate, which is bad IMO.

But you and Arch have a point, freedom of speech and expression should be shared by all, not only by the so-called "enlightened" elitists.

Fair enough. Just the thought that one can be put under investigation for expressing an opinion is scary. It's just a matter of time before they take the next step and start locking people up. With the freedom of speech being under fire world wide, I thought it deserved to be brought up, regardless of her credibility or credentials.

If this is true, this carries a lot more weight on my opinion.

Hard to believe that such an agency would post such a thing. But then again, Trump's posts make me smh daily lol.

If the British police have a policy of going after "Muslim hate speech", they're doing it on orders from their government. And that is not good.

I have not read this whole sh!tstorm of a threade, but, having freedom of speech does not mean you have freedom from the repercussions of what your free speech has said

Out of curiosity, are you saying then that criticizing Islam has negative consequences?

I'm saying negative free speech has negative consequences. Talking without choosing your words properly has a negative effect on what you are trying to say. Be it about islam, christianity, white people, black people, whatever you say. People are so quick to just say what pops into their heads hiding behind our right to free speech. Which hey, go for it, as long as you are willing to take what is coming to you for the views you have.
